The Killustrator is a reclusive and eccentric fellow. A moderately accomplished athlete (mostly past tense - weightlifting, powerlifting, wrestling, rowing, and golf), coach, and art school dropout, he has spent more than two decades researching and teaching anatomy & physiology in a variety of formats. He despises the copy and paste mentality of "exercise science" professionals that propagate and repeat misinformation, misinterpretation, and misapplication of scientific knowledge to exercise and sport. The state of the exercise science academic profession led him to re-explore classical anatomy and physiology in the context of improving the science-based resources available to trainees and exercise professionals. As part of that re-exploration, he dropped back in to the periphery of the art world as an illustrator for his own books and projects. Only one major book authorship and illustration project is left to complete in his publication run. It has been fun and the fun must continue. So Killustrated dot com is his outlet for fun and creative communication. Everything you see on this site was done, from beginning concept to inking/printing the products, by the Killustrator.
